The general shape was developed from the theme 'dramatic' and 'scale', which the upper space studio is dramatic, and the lower studio is scale. The texture applied on above, represent sense of movement that also showed within Hall's work. In contrast, the underground space was constructed by rectangles and cubes, each of them has a different size, which suggest the theme of scale. Additionally, the application of square shapes was also a typical image of Gascoigne's works. The texture was the element that connect each 'cube' together, it was used to create an interesting appearance of the below studio.

The studio contains a various of space that suggest the changing pattern within Gascoigne's works. The texture, which represents the word 'swift', was the element that connect each 'scale' of studio together.
FIONA HALL
The studio has a dramatic roof, which represent the theme of Hall's work. The texture applied on the organic surface, also suggest a dynamic movement.
