EXP1 Exterior

The general shape was developed from the theme 'dramatic' and 'scale', which the upper space studio is dramatic, and the lower studio is scale. The texture applied on above, represent sense of movement that also showed within Hall's work. In contrast, the underground space was constructed by rectangles and cubes, each of them has a different size, which suggest the theme of scale. Additionally, the application of square shapes was also a typical image of Gascoigne's works. The texture was the element that connect each 'cube' together, it was used to create an interesting appearance of the below studio.
